Distributor FAQ — MOQ, Lead Time & Exclusive Territory
Straight answers to the questions distributors ask before they commit — order quantities, lead times, shipping terms, payment, samples, territory and private label. For the bigger picture, see our become-a-distributor page.
What distributors ask before they order
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Two different figures, depending on which route you take. Stock lines under our own brands start at 30,000 packs per size. Private label starts at 400,000 pieces per SKU (500,000 for tampons), because a run carrying your brand is produced to order. Per-unit pricing improves as volume rises toward container quantities — a 20ft holds about 500,000 pieces, a 40HQ about 1,100,000.
What are your lead times?
Stock lines ship soonest. Private-label and custom-packaging orders need extra time for artwork approval and production scheduling. We confirm a firm lead time on your quote against the current production calendar.
Which Incoterms and shipping options do you offer?
We quote FOB, CIF or door-to-door from China to your nearest port. We handle export documentation from the factory side; you or your forwarder manage import clearance, with our test reports and certificates to support it.
What payment terms do you accept?
Terms are agreed per order and typically combine a deposit with the balance against shipping documents. We confirm the accepted methods and the deposit on your proforma invoice.
Can I get free samples before I commit?
Yes. We mail free samples worldwide so you can check quality, materials and packaging before placing an order. Tell us the brands and formats you'd like to evaluate.
How does an exclusive territory work in practice?
We do grant exclusive territory agency. Rather than handing you a fixed template, the conditions are worked out jointly against the real size and structure of your market, then written into your proposal. Practically that means the scope, the volume expectation and the review cadence are all negotiated rather than imposed — bring your channel plan to the first conversation and it will shape the terms.
When can I add my own private label?
Any time. Many distributors start with our stock brands to open the market, then move to private label once volumes justify custom artwork and packaging. We handle the design files and confirm MOQ and lead time for your labelled lines.
What certifications and import documents do you provide?
Our products are made to FDA, CE, ISO 9001, GOTS, OEKO-TEX and SGS standards, and we supply the test reports and export paperwork your market needs — prepared against your product specification to support registrations such as NAFDAC, SONCAP, KEBS or BIS, handled together with the importer.
How do reorders and ongoing supply work?
Once your specification is set, reorders are straightforward — we keep your formats and artwork on file and schedule repeat production to keep your shelves stocked. As a factory exporting to 80+ countries, reliable, repeatable supply is the core of the relationship.
