Wholesale sanitary pads for Europe, supplied at source
We are the factory behind our own brands — supplying Polish, Italian and Eastern European importers, private-label brands, discounters and pharmacies with sanitary pads at factory price. A China-based manufacturer, not a local European converter and not a broker.
European buyers ask for the same product under different names: “podpaski” in Poland, “assorbenti” in Italy, and “sanitary pads” or “sanitary napkins” in English-language procurement. Behind every term sits the same brief: reliable absorbency, retail-ready pack counts, stable quality batch after batch, and a landed cost that leaves room for discount, drugstore and pharmacy margins. We build the offer around the channel, not around a single local word.
We serve that demand as a China-based factory, not a local converter. With 20+ years of production, exports to 80+ countries, 150+ brand programmes and capacity of over 4 billion pads a year, we give importers factory pricing and brand owners a turnkey private-label partner — with free samples shipped to Poland, Italy and Eastern Europe before you commit. For the volume side of the offer, see our wholesale programme.

One factory, four very different European channel briefs
Europe is not one market. A discounter, a drugstore or pharmacy chain, an e-commerce seller and a private-label programme each buy to a different brief — and the mix of them differs between Poland, Italy and the rest of the region.
Discounters lead on unit price and pallet efficiency: value ultra-thin and overnight packs with a tight per-piece cost and pack counts that fit shelf and pallet plans. Drugstore and pharmacy chains weigh absorbency, topsheet feel and sensitive-skin options, where organic-cotton and certified materials matter more and every claim must be backed by the report behind it. E-commerce sellers want retail-ready packs and barcodes; private-label brands want a proven product carrying their own name.
We supply the same factory product in the format each channel needs: stock ranges for fast-moving retail and private label for the shelf you own. Goods land through Gdańsk for Poland and the Baltic-adjacent markets, Genoa for northern Italy, and Rotterdam or Hamburg for north-west Europe, then move to distribution centres, pharmacy wholesalers and fulfilment warehouses. Buyers in the UK, France and the Nordics are served on the same factory terms.
- Discounter-ready value packs at factory price
- Drugstore and pharmacy lines in sensitive-skin and organic cotton
- E-commerce and marketplace pack formats with barcodes
- Private label for Polish, Italian and regional store brands
- Delivered through Gdańsk / Genoa or Rotterdam / Hamburg
Compliance and labelling: what we supply, what the importer owns
In the European Union, ordinary menstrual pads are treated as general consumer products, not medical devices. That means CE marking is not automatically required or applicable to standard pads — a genuine CE mark only enters the picture where a product is classified as a medical device, for example because of medical claims. For standard pads the working framework is the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR), REACH chemical restrictions and, where plastic is present, the single-use plastics marking. Our CE marking guide explains the distinction, and why a CE mark is usually misapplied to standard pads.
Placing pads on the Polish, Italian or any other EU market makes the importer or distributor the party responsible for local compliance — the EU responsible operator, traceability, the required languages and the accuracy of claims. We provide the test reports and material certificates we hold, produce packaging from the artwork you approve, and flag the label fields that need confirming for your destination before a print run. Our labelling guide lists those fields country by country.
Markets outside the EU customs area — the UK, for one — run their own product-safety and labelling frameworks; ordinary pads do not require marking there either, but responsible-operator and traceability duties still apply. Wherever you sell, material certifications such as GOTS and OEKO-TEX cover specific products and components: our certification comparison explains the difference, and the quality standards by country guide maps the wider picture.
- Test reports and material certificates from the factory
- CE file support where a product is classified as a medical device
- GPSR · REACH · single-use plastics marking guidance
- Label artwork produced from your approved proof
- Responsible-operator and traceability duties flagged for the importer
- CE claims reviewed against classification — never assumed for standard pads
From your brief to a Polish, Italian or regional brand on shelf
Private label is a core service: you own the brand, the artwork and the claims; we manufacture to your approved specification and prepare the product documents your importer needs. The route is fixed: brief and product spec, samples and pack trial, artwork and pack dimensions, digital proof approval, production, QC and shipping. Production starts only after the digital proof is approved; the confirmed schedule is part of your quote.
Launching is easier when the factory already runs its own brands: our five lines show how packaging and artwork decisions are made. Read the private-label guide for the full evaluation process, or see the OEM / ODM programme for what a dedicated brand run involves.
- Brand, artwork and product claims owned by you
- Spec and pack format confirmed against samples
- Digital proof approved before production starts
- Production scheduled after your proof is approved
- QC and shipment documents handled from the factory
- Private-label minimum confirmed with your quote

Common questions from Polish, Italian and European buyers
Who supplies wholesale sanitary pads to Poland, Italy and Europe?
We are a China-based factory that supplies Polish, Italian and Eastern European importers, private-label brands, discounters and pharmacies directly — not a local European converter and not a broker. With 20+ years of production, exports to 80+ countries, 150+ brand programmes and capacity of over 4 billion pads a year, we give European buyers factory pricing and a turnkey private-label partner.
What is the minimum order for sanitary pads shipped to Europe?
Our own-brand lines start at 30,000 packs per size, and mixed sizes and product lines can be planned together in one container. Private-label minimums are set per SKU and confirmed with your quote; different products, materials, pack formats or packaging are counted separately and cannot be combined to reach one minimum.
Can you private-label sanitary pads for a Polish or Italian brand?
Yes. Private label is a core service: you own the brand, artwork and claims, and we manufacture to your approved specification. The confirmed production schedule and private-label minimum are set in your quote, and the digital proof must be approved before production starts. Your importer or responsible operator owns the local classification, language and legal review of the finished label.
Do you provide free samples to Poland, Italy and Eastern Europe?
Yes. Samples are free and are dispatched in 1–3 days; the buyer covers courier freight. Tell us which formats and pack sizes you are comparing and we will send the closest matches from our current range.
What are your shipping terms and which European ports do you use?
We quote FOB, CIF or DDP. Polish shipments usually land through Gdańsk, Italian shipments through Genoa, and north-west European shipments through Rotterdam or Hamburg. We handle export documentation from our side, and door-to-door delivery can be arranged against the agreed Incoterm.
Is CE marking required for sanitary pads in the EU?
Not automatically. Ordinary pads are treated as general consumer products in the EU, not medical devices, so CE marking neither applies nor should be claimed for a standard pad. CE marking becomes relevant where a product is classified as a medical device — for example because of medical claims. For standard pads the practical framework is GPSR, REACH and the single-use plastics marking. We supply the test reports and material certificates we hold, and the importer or appointed responsible operator confirms classification and applicability.
Who is responsible for EU labelling and import compliance in Poland and Italy?
The importer or distributor placing the product on the market owns local compliance, including the responsible operator, traceability, required languages and the accuracy of claims. We supply the product documentation the factory holds, produce packaging from the buyer-approved artwork, and flag the fields that need confirming for your destination before ordering a print run.
Can you also supply the UK, France and other European markets?
Yes. The UK, France and the Nordics are served on the same factory terms. Each market runs its own product-safety and labelling framework — after Brexit the UK applies its own rules, where ordinary pads do not require marking but responsible-operator and traceability duties still apply. The country labelling guide maps those fields, and the importer confirms them per destination.
